Transformed by the renewing of mind (August 14,2020)

Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.

Life application:

We are being brainwashed regularly by television, entertainment and advertisement at the point that our perception of things and our choice have been corrupted. You buy a certain brand of detergent because you have watched the advertisement and was persuaded that particular brand is good. So we have accumulated so much informations good and bad that we are relying on to make decision daily. If you have grown in not loving and caring family, you will have the tendency to hate others and always feel insecure and not loved and your life will be miserable even if you manage to acquire this worldly treasure. When you become a Christian, it is by reading and meditating on the Word of God daily that your mind will be renew. By doing so, you will be able to discern what is good, pleasing and perfect will of God. How to pray through:

1. Thank The Heavenly Father for life, good health, revelation of His word. And acknowledge that He is the source of your life.

2. Understand that transformation is a choice and it can be very scary as you have to leave your comfort zone but you are not alone, The Spirit of God, The Comforter is ready to help you on this journey to your freedom. First identify what is not good in your behavior and attitude, ask God to help you change and become a good person.

3. Ask The Lord to reveal all the hidden fear in your life.

4. Ask The Lord to destroy all the stronghold that hindering you to have a happy and peaceful life.

5. Thank The Lord for transforming your mind and tearing down all the strongholds in your life.
