Updated: Nov 21, 2020

1 Peter 1:3-5 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Life application:

It is quite easy these days to become hopeless and despair looking at the current situation in the world, some would wish not to be born in this generation.Even in the middle of this chaos, God prepared for us a way out through the living hope that comes with the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. The resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ is very crucial in our salvation for through this event our old man died and we become new creation. Therefore there's a living hope that though we may die physically , we will not stay in the kingdom of the dead but we will join our Lord Jesus Christ in heaven as He promised to the thief on the cross saying that today you will be with me in paradise. Therefore, do not let the fear of dying cripple your life or steal your peace and joy to enjoy your progress in this life that The Lord has given us. And let us take courage and continue to shine the Light of God in this world.

How to pray through:

1. Thank The Heavenly Father for life, good health, revelation of His word. And acknowledge that He is the source of your life.

2. Have you been experiencing some situation of hopelessness these days? if Yes, know that God is on His throne and continue to rule over the kingdoms of men. Ask The Lord to revive your hope.

3.Ask The Lord to reveal to you His wonderful purpose for your life, even as He said for the plan that I have for you is not harm but prosper you, to give you hope and future.

4. Thank The Lord for refreshing your soul through the living hope by Christ Jesus.

In the Name of Christ Jesus, Amen.
