The Lord will give you a heart of flesh (August 12,2020)

Ezekiel 36:26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.

Life application:

No one is born with an evil heart but the circumstances of life and succession of wrong decision lead many people to become bad and harden their heart from any good deed. But God The Father doesn't want His children to be evil that is why when someone humble himself by accepting Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, God will send His Spirit into that person so that his heart will change. You can really see a 180 degrees change into someone's life. Many in this world think Christians are soft and naive; no that's not true, Christians receive the nature of God through The Holy Spirit and become long-suffering, a character that many don't have in this world. When the Holy Spirit comes upon you, He changes your heart and gives a heart of flesh which is sensitive to God's ways. Then you will start to care for others the way God cares and you will become a vessel that God will use to manifest his compassion.

How to pray through:

1. Thank The Heavenly Father for life, good health, revelation of His word. And acknowledge that He is the source of your life.

2. If you have noticed that you still have a heart of stone though you are a Christian, check your life if there is still areas that you haven’t surrender to The Lord Jesus Christ yet, pray to surrender all these areas to God.

3. Having a heart of flesh can be progressive. Ask The Lord to reveal to you areas that you need to surrender and become more like Christ.

4. Thank The Lord for giving a heart of flesh.
