The Lord God must be regarded as Holy (September 17, 2020)

Leviticus 10:3 And Moses said to Aaron, “This is what the LORD spoke, saying: ‘By those who come near Me I must be regarded as holy; And before all the people I must be glorified.’” So, Aaron held his peace.

Life application:

Anyone can claim connection with God in many different ways but to draw near to The Lord God is a very serious decision. God's Holiness is a mystery that even angels in Heaven cannot understand. Drawing near to God can bring favor if you draw near to Him with reverence and love and also it can be deadly if you ignore or disregard His Nature. God is Holy, this is His Nature and those who desire to get closer to God must have the reverence of God presence in their heart. As you are preparing yourself to get closer to God, work on your true motives and heart desire, align yourself with the Word of God. God is not respecter of persons if you meet His conditions, you will be accepted by Him. How to pray through: 1. Thank The Heavenly Father for life, good health, revelation of His word. And acknowledge that He is the source of your life.

2. From his very young age, The Lord called David, man after His own heart. The motives of your heart matter before God when you are getting closer to Him. After sinning against God, David asked God to create in him a clean heart, you too can ask God to create in you a clean heart so that you can get closer to Him

3. Ask The Lord Holy Spirit to help keep and maintain the life of sanctification and pure heart.

4. Thank The Lord for allowing you to get closer to Him.
