The law and the testimony (September 15, 2020)

Psalm 19:7 The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the LORD is trustworthy, making wise the simple.

Life application: The law that God gave to Moses was perfect but people to whom it was given was not able to abandon their acquired egyptian tradition and customs to embrace God's Kingdom values and ethics. God will always punish evil action, to protect His chosen people from His wrath that may come because of sin, God gave them the law so that they will not fall into punishment if they sin. The law brought a clear knowledge of good and evil, by exposing all the evil deeds. Those who obey the law will surely live in peace. In our society, man understood that without the rule of law, no country or nation can be sustained and prosper, that is why every country has its own law, to maintain peace and secure people's right. Before the law of Moses, some nations had already a kind of code of conduct by which their managed their affairs, but their laws were to help sustain their dominion over the poor and other under privilege people. The Law of God brought equality among people, whoever breaks it even if he is a king or a door keeper, the punishment will be impartially given according to the law. Testimonies are the undeniable deeds of God that show His Greatness in all the creation. How to pray through: 1. Thank The Heavenly Father for life, good health, revelation of His word. And acknowledge that He is the source of your life.

2. knowing and living by the law of God will surely revive your soul. Tell to the Lord that you want to delight in His law. Ask The Lord to reveal to you His Testimonies.

3. Ask The Lord to write His law in your heart so that you will always abide and live by it.

4. Thank The Lord for revealing to you His Law and Testimony.
