Saved not by our deeds but by His mercy ( August 13,2020)

Titus 3:5 He saved us, not by the righteous deeds we had done, but according to His mercy, through the washing of new birth and renewal by the Holy Spirit

Life application:

Being a descendant of Adam, everything that man does with his own strength cannot please The Most High God. Some people have hard time to believe simple things; many person have tried to meet God's requirement as it is written in His Word but all have failed and fell short of the glory of God. To help the humanity to meet the standard of salvation, God choose to send His Only begotten Son , Jesus Christ, so that through His death and resurrection all who believe in Him will be saved and receive Eternal life. It means that we are saved not by our deeds but the mercy of God that is manifest by the covering of our sins through the blood of Jesus Christ. Salvation is not for free because God paid the price of our redemption, therefore we must value and treasure this wonderful gift of God.

How to pray through:

1. Thank The Heavenly Father for life, good health, revelation of His word. And acknowledge that He is the source of your life.

2. Thank The Heavenly Father for this wonderful gift to the humanity. And ask The Lord to send and increase the labors in the world(harvest field).

3. Ask The Lord to extend His mercy to all those who are resisting the gospel. And intercede for the salvation of whoever The Lord is putting in your heart.

4. Thank The Lord for the salvation of your family members and your nation.
