Everything that God gives is good and perfect (August 10,2020)

James 1:17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, with whom there is no change or shifting shadow.

Life application:

There is this question that always comes up: why bad things happen to good people. Our God is a Good Father, He cares for us more than our earthly parents; but since this world is under the curse and under the rule of Satan, for God's children to receive their gifts or promises, they have to maintain and protect their relationship with The Father. If the relationship with God is damaged, the enemy will take benefit of it to perform evil and destroy what God has been doing in the lives of His children. Therefore we have to be aware of this reality and continue to be vigilant that our blessing will not be destroyed or stollen by the devil. Everything that The Lord gives us is good and perfect but the enemy is trying continually to discredit God by causing harm to those who expecting and cause their faith to weaken. But The Lord always make a way for His people to receive good gifts even as they are waiting patiently on Him.

How to pray through: 1. Thank The Heavenly Father for life, good health, revelation of His word. And acknowledge that He is the source of your life.

2. Proclaim and declare loudly that The Lord is your shield and your exceeding great reward!

3. Tell The Lord that you are patiently waiting on Him to fulfill all His promises through your life.

4. Thank The Lord for giving you good gifts and for watching over your good health.
